Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my followers on WordPress. I know this year has been a difficult one for so many, not just in Ireland, but all around the world.

Let me share some positive things that happened this year in my life.

I’ll be an aunt again in early 2022
I’m more self aware of my feelings
I rely more on myself and less on other people
I turned the big 3-0 in April

Even though its been a hard year, never ever think that you’re a failure. Getting through last year and this year alone is an achievement in itself.

To all the healthcare workers, keyworkers, carers, schools, front line staff and to everyone else who is just getting by.

THANK YOU

All of you chose to put your lives at risk to save others from this nasty disease. There is no greater gift than a gift of life. Families were reunited for Christmas. And its because of you we all get to spend 2022 together. You’ve all proved that we as a nation can and will beat this disease together.

My Birthday and Covid – 19 Injection

Hello there!

It was my birthday last weekend! It was my 2nd birthday during the pandemic so it meant that I couldn’t do anything for it. Even though I didn’t do anything, I still had fun with my family, I also had a bouncy castle for my nephew. A few days before my birthday, I fell down the stairs quite hard and injured myself. That didn’t stop me from having bouncing fun on the bouncy castle though! I have a nasty bruise but its going.

My injection for Covid – 19 with my centre didn’t go ahead due to the astra zenica ordeal. I was disappointed at the time, but at the end of the day your health is your wealth. I wasn’t going to cry over spilled milk so I just moved on from it. On the day of my birthday, my doctor rang not only my dad for his injection, but he also called me for my injection. It was late in on a Saturday evening so I was surprised but grateful that he rang me. That was a nice surprise, one that I wasn’t expecting to say the least! I had hardly any reactions at all. The one thing that I had was tiredness and a sore arm to the touch. I’ll be getting my second injection in the middle of May and I’m so looking forward to it.
