Its a complicated world

**trigger warning talking about coronavirus**

This post is not one of those positive posts, but rather than a little bit virus related.

Life as we knew it changed dramatically since the virus started. Before, there was holidays, birthday celebrations, Christmas and NYE parties. We were allowed to visit loved ones and travel outside our own counties. There were social gatherings on a daily basis.

I feel like all of this has been taken away from us with a blink of an eye. I spent the best part of 6 years to get where I am today. Being able to travel on the bus into town by myself didn’t come easy. I achieved that with the help of the centre that I am attending. Not being able to go there for 4 months or more was upsetting.

I did get to video call the person in charge there, and that helped greatly. I went walking by myself to help with the stress. I also done a lot of colouring. With all three put into place, I managed to get my stress levels under control, and they’ve been under control ever since. I knew I had to focus on myself to be able to start posting here again.

If your struggling with the coronavirus pandemic, please reach out and know that your not alone. Take small steps at a time. Thats what I done when I decided to ring my centre.

Corona virus lockdown activities

Here is a list of activities I’ve done to keep myself busy during the lockdown that might be interesting for you to do.

  1. Mindful colouring
This one is my favourite. I normally have a few pages printed out or I’ll have adult colouring in front of me. I normally like to listen to relaxing music to help me stay focused.

  2. Listening to relaxing music
Listening to music can help you draw out the noise. So if your like me and you love to stay positive, then listening to relaxation music will help with earphones in! I also love listening to relaxation music before going to sleep at night.

  3. Walks
It has been proving that walking can lower stress. Doing this a few days a week can certainly help when your stressed. Theres nothing like a bit of fresh air!!!

  4. Spend some time with your pets
Dogs, dogs and more dogs!!! If you have any other pet thats brilliant, but I’m a dog person!!! (Sorry cat lovers)

  5. Start your blog
If your like me and like to write (when ever you can).

  6. Talk about what your feeling
Talking about what your feeling to family and friends is so underrated – I’ve had plenty of experiences in the past and I know how hard it can be to get started.

  7. Do arts and crafts
Arts and crafts can be linked in with relaxing colouring. There is plenty of things you can do with household items (I think I might have something on this, link below if I do)

  8. Act silly
Did you ever want to be just a kid again? Well this is your chance to own it!!! No sarcasm intended!!! Hehe!!!

  9. Read a book, mag, newspaper etc
You don’t need to go to the shop to get something to read, theres plenty online, like audible and some newspapers can be found on Google Play or on Apple App Store

  10. Cook a meal
Surely this will make you and someone else happy.
