I for one always believed in ‘go with flow’. Of course we can all go with the flow, its life at the end of the day. There will be days where you won’t always be able to be positive, and thats ok. If you feel like you want to through something on the ground, through tin foil, if you feel like you need to shout, search youtube for funny videos!
Always have a back up plan just in case your first plan doesn’t work. If you can, try and work through negativity – that way your lifting a ton off your chest. If you like to babble (eg talking) then babble!
What if no one is there to listen?
Then get a diary and write in it. Show it to that person when both of you are not busy.
But do I really need to show it to the person?
No, of course not. Whats in your diary is for your eyes only, and if you want to share it, then share it. The whole point of having a diary is to get that heavy load off your chest, so you don’t need to stress out about showing it to anyone else, if you don’t want to.
What if I have problems with my reading and writing?
Thats no problem. Theres other ways of tackling your emotions and you don’t need pen or paper to do it either. If you have a phone you could always record yourself expressing how you feel.
Try and distract yourself from what ever is on your mind. I find when my mind is racing, I tend to get a little cranky. Knowing what triggers negative thinking will help you to to controlling it. And remember, if you feel like you cant always be positive, thats ok too. Rome wasn’t built in a day so give it a day and see how it goes. Don’t be pushing yourself, and treat yourself every now and then. We’re only human at the end of the day.
